Our Views Shape Our World

Have we considered the practical impacts of our views?

I agree with Tesla, but most times, we don’t want to consider other view points.  In general, we consider our views more important than others and fight hard to defend it.  However, when views are converted into actions, what is the practical impact of the action on others?  What is the scale of impact – personal/ social/ global/ environmental?  Does the impact have negative outcomes or positive outcomes?  Is the outcome seen and experienced in the short term, or is it long term?  Are our views a hypothesis or have we truly considered the outcomes of our views beyond our own personal space and mental construct of our world?

Our views and opinions are influenced by our perception.

Our views and opinions turn into actions.

Our views shape our world.

Our views create our world.

What type of world do you want to live in?

“Fights between individuals, as well as governments and nations, invariably result from misunderstandings in the broadest interpretation of this term.Misunderstandings are always caused by the inability of appreciating one another’s point of view. This again is due to the ignorance of those concerned, not so much in their own, as in their mutual fields.

The peril of a clash is aggravated by a more or less predominant sense of combativeness, posed by every human being.

To resist this inherent fighting tendency the best way is to dispel ignorance of the doings of others by a systematic spread of general knowledge. With this object in view, it is most important to aid exchange of thought and intercourse.”
